As of 2007, your scanning options are as follows:
  1. Large format (11x17) scanner in Publicity Office (donated by Ed Harkins; requires on older computer). Staff can scan from within the "music" account and save files onto the musicbiz server.
  2. 8.5x11 scanner in Kristy's area (on the Student iMac). Staff can scan and save files onto the musicbiz server. This setup is good for scanning into multi-page PDFs.
  3. 8.5x11 scanner in B130 (for Grads). Grads can scan, transfer over the net or burn CDs.
  4. 8.5x11 scanner in 122 (Canon scanner donated by Jenn)
  5. Imprints has large format scanning service - $6 + $.14 per page - they can scan and e-mail a PDF (turnaround is generally ~24 hours).
  6. For slides, the Visual Arts folks have offered to help us. They have several slide scanning labs. We have been scanning RR's projects in the VA labs.
  7. IWDC (in AP&M) provides 10-hours per quarter per faculty member. They will scan (mainly for the purpose of posting on the web).
  8. The S&E library has a "public" scanning station - for faculty, staff and students.
